Day 1 as a Shore citizen. Started my day exploring the outer networks, 
made the mistake of going into 'comp.os.linux.advocacy' where some fe
llow was ranting about religious groups, nothing to do with Linux. Qu
ickly left that place and found myself in 'comp.infosystems' where a 
nice fellow mentioned Nightfall City as a peaceful alternative. Packe
d my bags in a hurry and caught the next boat out.

Arrived in Shore district and settled into my new house, the sea view 
from the porch is simply wonderful. Spent the afternoon watching the r
est of the ships sail into harbor, quite busy today with immigrant ves
sels and tour cruises. All looking for a quiet place, same as me.

Went for a walk to the nearby shop in the evening, picked up some groc
eries, some treats, and this notebook I'm writing in right now. The sh
opkeeper was really friendly. I think I'm really going to like it here 
in Shore district.
