# 2026.08.22 / Saturday evening
I got weak today, my curiosity won, my common sense lost - I bought a
cheap, mechanical 60% keyboard, and now... well - I expected I'll get
annoyed by the lack of important keys, but so far? Only the '~'
requiring a three-fingers salute is a little "off", but other than
that -- vim doesn't care if I have arrow keys, bash doesn't care if I
have arrow keys, the Ctrls are positioned better than on my work
laptop's keyboard. It's not going to be my daily driver (I'm spoiled
by using ergonomic keyboards for a quarter of century now), but it's
not an awful experience.

The NC was read-only today, I guess the disk got full:
1. I could create my "tag" file (check if my page update will upload
or bomb);
2. I couldn't read the created file (or more exactly - there was
nothing to read);
3. I could delete the created file.
Anyway - as I am adding to the problem by posting it - I won't
complain ;)

I reworked the chess script a little (mostly for clarity), and I think
I have an idea for adding more information about the game.
The original idea based on a single line protocol, so, theoretically
the game page could (and probably should) include players' URLs and,
maybe, the current state of the game renderend in ASCII for a wider
compatibility.

Also, slightly improved the nexedit.

Last but not least - I read a nice (saying it not in a sycophantic
way) piece by ~m10o
Kind of encouraging a find, especially after strolling through plenty
of empty "placeholder" stations here. Sadly the newest entry is from
2.5 year ago...

# 2026.08.23 / Sunday
Went to a summer fail at a lake nearby, mostly to not spend the day at
home and to walk a little.
