                                      Nah!
                             You're hallucinating!
                                 I don't exist!
                           Every Messner knows that!
              So this explains why this page is absolutely empty!

                              More somewhen later.

                    I need to fix my Dillo Nex plugin first.
        And all I need for that is a test page with a width of 80 chars.

* [2025-08-26]

- My nex: server in Nim seems to run ™good enough™ on my Penguins. No NPS yet,
  but on *nixens it easily could be an own process, so maybe some day ...

- My minimal Nex plugin for Dillo got dedusted and a small fix.

* [2025-08-27]

- My minimal nex: server written in Nim seems to happily run on MetBSD and
  OpenBSD too, but not yet safe enough for use cases in the global net.

- My minimal nex: server written in MicroPython got fixed. It still is not
  restricting the requests strict enough to be called safe, but it is ok for
  tests in a single user LAN like mine. I don't grok mPy's async routines yet,
  so running it on a micro-controller will block and allow no NPS at the same
  time. I've no idea when I will look at that again.

* [2025-08-28]

- You may call me crazy. But only up to three times! Ok? I finally tested
  HTML over nex: served by a gopher: server. Will your browser like that?

=> nex://yeti.freeshell.org:70/users/yeti/nex/a-little-secret.html

* [2025-09-08]

- Nope! No mind breaking news.

- I stumbled into Mozz's notes about nex: and I think there still are a lot of
  questioens unanswered.

=> nex://mozz.us/nex-protocol-notes.txt

- Mostly harmless are the other things mentioned at Mozz's station:

=> nex://mozz.us/

- I played a bit more with Nim and hope to someday understand MicroPython's
  async stuff.

- After half a crisis about the discrepancy between nex's spec and the reality
  found among the texts in the stations I adapted my Dillo plugin's rendering of
  links to allow garbage following "=> path-or-url". Trailing line contents
  will not be used as the text of the HTML link, it will just be placed after
  the original link wrapped into "<a href=...>...</a>".

* [2025-11-07]

   Moved the NEX served over Gopger test page from ...

!> nex://sdf.org:70/users/yeti/index.html

   ... to ...

=> nex://yeti.freeshell.org:70/users/yeti/nex/a-little-secret.html

   The previous one will contain a hint about this for a while.

   The link in section [2025-08-28] was updated.

* To Do List (™Dark Energy Inside!™)

- A Nex plugin for W3m and Chawan. That might even be the same translating
  local CGI that works for both browsers.

* Open Questions

- What's that currency (see garden and watering) usable for? Are there already
  some ideas?
