You are in a small, shabby office somewhere on an upper floor of
one of the taller buildings set further back away from the
coastline.  The position of the office within the building causes
the window to face inland toward Nightfall City rather than provide
a view of the picturesque sandy shore in the opposite direction.
Hopefully that resulted in cheaper rent, though to be fair, the
view of the city isn't bad.
