Hanging from a coat hook is a long brown coat. Or is it a duster?
In any case, it looks like it's been through a lot and has been
mended and patched in several places.  Stuffed into one of the
pockets is a knitted orange and yellow cap with a puffball at its
crown that makes it look rather cunning.
